September 4, 2025 – The U.S. Transhumanist Party announces its entry into a political coalition with the U.S. Pirate Party, entitled All Hands for a Free Future (which may be concisely referred to as “AllHandsFuture” or “All Hands”). The Bylaws of All Hands for a Free Future can be read here.

Additionally, the U.S. Transhumanist Party announces its endorsement of two gubernatorial candidacies for the 2026 elections – that of Timothy Grady, running as an independent candidate for Governor of Ohio and that of Zoltan Istvan, running as a Democrat for Governor of California.

After a vote of its members, held electronically, between August 18 and September 1, 2025, the U.S. Transhumanist Party releases the following results:

Question 1. Vote on the Endorsement of Zoltan Istvan

Yes – 74.4% – 64 votes
No – 18.6% – 16 votes
Abstain – 7.0% – 6 votes

Question 2. Vote on the Endorsement of Timothy Grady

Yes – 76.7% – 66 votes
No – 7.0% – 6 votes
Abstain – 16.3% – 14 votes

Question 3. Vote on the Entry into a Political Coalition with the U.S. Pirate Party, Entitled “All Hands for a Free Future”

Yes – 86.05% – 74 votes
No – 8.14% – 7 votes
Abstain – 5.81% – 5 votes

“By clear majorities, the U.S. Transhumanist Party members who cast their votes have spoken,” stated Gennady Stolyarov II, Chairman of the U.S. Transhumanist Party. “The USTP now has its first two endorsed candidates for the 2026 midterm elections. Furthermore, it will henceforth participate in a much more versatile system for cross-endorsing candidates with our friends and allies at the U.S. Pirate Party, so that many worthwhile Pirate candidates who share our values can also be supported and acknowledged as upholding key Transhumanist priorities as reflected in our Constitution, Platform, and Transhumanist Bill of Rights. Joining forces with like-minded champions of individual liberty, technological progress, and universal abundance – while maintaining our distinctive political identities – is the way to effectively challenge the political duopoly in the United States and bring truly innovative policy solutions to the forefront of public discourse. The All Hands for a Free Future coalition is intentionally structured so as to be open to including additional potential political parties over time as well. This will provide further opportunities for coordination on campaigns and initiatives that will benefit the efforts of all forward-thinking political parties that seek to offer more genuine choices to the American electorate.”

Captain Mitch Davilo (“Jolly Mitch”) of the U.S. Pirate Party commented on the formation of All Hands for a Free Future, “The very idea of a political coalition of minor parties within the United States is out of the box. It’s new, it’s unique, and above all else, it’s historic. I am beyond excited to be apart of something so historic, and alongside the U.S. Transhumanist Party, I believe our two parties, as well as whoever may join us in the future, have set a precedent that will change how minor political parties operate in this country. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner party to start this coalition with. I feel confident about our prospects and our future, but I am mostly excited for what we can do for the people of the United States. Free Men. Free Labor. Free Soil. Free Future. May we find our successes, change lives for the better, and build up our two parties so that we may, dare I say, live long and prosper.”

Upon being informed of the outcome of the U.S. Transhumanist Party’s member vote, Timothy Grady issued the following statement: “I am honored to receive the endorsement of the U.S. Transhumanist Party. We share a commitment to the use of science and technology to the benefit of all. The Party is leading important conversations about emerging technologies, both their opportunities and risks. These are not challenges of some distant future but here and now, raising existential questions that demand leadership and foresight. I look forward to working with the Transhumanist Party to fight for a better future for everyone.”

The U.S. Pirate Party also recently endorsed the campaign of Timothy Grady on August 12, 2025.

Zoltan Istvan responded to the USTP’s endorsement, stating, “Thank you Transhumanist Party for the endorsement of my campaign for California Governor as a Democrat. You support will help me take on the challenges that AI presents to my state as well as the world. We are facing difficult times, and now more than ever, we must all come together to forge a successful path ahead.”

At this time, official U.S. Transhumanist Party channels and social media may be used to promote the endorsed candidates and share their campaign materials. Furthermore, U.S. Transhumanist Party members are encouraged to provide assistance to their campaigns in any manner they consider to be reasonable and within their individual abilities.
