Arin Vahanian Returns as Permanent Vice-Chairman of the U.S. Transhumanist Party, Rotation of the Vice-Chairman Position Concludes

November 1, 2025 – The U.S. Transhumanist Party (USTP) is pleased to announce that Arin Vahanian has agreed to return to the permanent role of USTP Vice-Chairman, having previously served in that role from June 12, 2020, to February 28, 2023.
Commenting on his resumption of the permanent Vice-Chairman Role, Mr. Vahanian stated, “I am both honored and thrilled to be back as the Vice-Chairman of the USTP. After the cataclysmic events of the last few years, which saw the world battle a pandemic, as well as experience tremendous economic and social upheaval, we now find ourselves in a situation in which there is increased apathy and disappointment in our political institutions and our so-called leaders. One of the initial reasons I was drawn toward the USTP is that we presented a different way, one that wasn’t focused on hyperbole, corruption and partisanship, but rather, on seeking the objective truth, in promoting ethics in our society, and strengthening all the good that the human race has achieved, while supporting those who seek to improve the human condition through leveraging advancements in science and technology. Indeed, today, more than ever, it is important to have a second choice. The USTP represents that second choice, which should be protected and promoted at all costs. That is why I am proud to be involved with this organization.”
The return of Arin Vahanian to the position of Vice-Chairman concludes the rotation of Vice-Chairmen that occurred during the time period of March 1, 2023, through October 31, 2025. During that time, Arin Vahanian served two three-month terms as Vice-Chairman from November 1, 2023, to January 31, 2024, and again from November 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025.
Other U.S. Transhumanist Party Officers who served in the role of Vice-Chairman during the time of rotation have been Art Ramon Garcia, Jr. (March – June 2023, May – July 2024, and May – July 2025), Jason Geringer (July – October 2023, August – October 2024, and August – October 2025), and Anthony Nielsen (February – April 2024 and February – April 2025). The U.S. Transhumanist Party thanks them for their service during these times to ensure that the duties of Vice-Chairman were carried out. These Officers will remain in their regular, permanent roles as Director of Visual Art (Art Ramon Garcia, Jr.), Legislative Director (Jason Geringer), and Director of Technology Outreach (Anthony Nielsen).
U.S. Transhumanist Party Chairman Gennady Stolyarov II remarked upon Vahanian’s return to the Vice-Chairman role, “In an ever more turbulent era in American politics, we need more than ever to have voices of reason in positions of leadership. Arin Vahanian is a person of unfailing good sense, whom I have always known to act civilly and rationally. He is eloquent and insightful, and he has always championed the values of the USTP and emphasized that, logically, these values should appeal to the mainstream if presented in the proper ways. American political life and civil society are currently under attack by increasingly polarized, vitriolic, and even violent elements. The USTP must serve as a bulwark against these tendencies, and we transhumanists must model the beneficial behaviors that we would wish to see instantiated in the broader world. For this, we need all hands on deck, and there is no one more suited to serving as a role model and an example of both courage and decency than Arin Vahanian. He does not hesitate to call out injustices, while also expressing the positive vision of the kind of future we want. Most importantly, he does all this in ways that uplift and show us what can be achieved if we act as the best versions of ourselves.”
Prior to becoming initially appointed as Vice-Chairman, Arin Vahanian served as the Director of Marketing for the USTP for two years, between June 11, 2018, and June 11, 2020. Specifically, he has a special interest in curing mental-health disorders such as depression and social anxiety disorder, as well as reversing aging and curing dementia and other neurological disorders.
