The U.S. Transhumanist Party will hold an electronic vote of the membership for a five-day period ending on 6:01 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, on the question of whether to endorse Daniel E. Twedt, who is running as a candidate for City Council in Thousand Oaks, California, in 2022.
Registered U.S. Transhumanist Party members as of 12:01 a.m. U.S. Pacific Time on Sunday, October 23 2022, would be able to cast their ballots on this question and will be sent their ballots via e-mail.

Mr. Twedt, a long-time U.S. Transhumanist Party member, previously ran in 2020, when he gained 3,437 votes, or 3% of the total. During his campaign, he spread awareness of the U.S. Transhumanist Party in local newspapers. Mr. Twedt shared his beliefs and the work he does to bring his vision to life, and requested an endorsement by the USTP.

Elections and Candidates come and go. What is interesting is to see what ideas and issues remain at work for the improvement of Human(E) Civilization. By directorship of the nonprofit PermaTrail.org, I can continue to be a community activist long after the ballots are counted!
